Li Sumpter created MythMedia Studios to put her dissertation theories into creative practice and to support positive social and ecological change in communities, locally and globally. She manages all studio operations, project development and art direction. Through MythMedia, Li has developed her multidisciplinary artistic practice described as eco-arts activism. Her passion for afrofuturism, science fiction, the human journey and the mysteries of the cosmos is reflected in both her personal work and in the MythMedia Studios projects she curates and produces.
Angelica is a political organizer who collaborates with political action groups around the Philadelphia area, and a co-founder of Moore Diverse- a space where students can discuss their differences and create a united front against hegemony. Angelica is currently a student at Moore College of Art & Design majoring in fine arts with minor in creative writing, and where they are also a part of Moore Curatorial. At MythMedia, Angelica supports community engagement and direct action initiatives and coordinates public events and special projects.
William supports MythMedia with expertise in film and video production, music performance, and audio technology. He serves as MythMedia’s lead in-house shooter and editor for community engagement projects and event documentation including the Pop Prophecy Project, Cozy Catastrophe shorts, and the forthcoming Graffiti in the Grass documentary currently in pre-production.
Carlye’s super power is creating intuitive graphic design solutions that meet your niche needs in head-spinning short order. They bring cutting edge applications and an eagle eye for aesthetics to MythMedia branding strategies that always pack a punch. Also a practicing curator with Modus @ Moore collective, Carlye supports MythMedia’s art events and curatorial projects.
